World Cup Awards will take place at 7 p.m. on the stage. Fireworks show to follow the concert.

The Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series hosted by Aspen/Snowmass debuts in November and continues through March with a series of free outdoor concerts held during key events and peak weekends throughout the season. All concerts are in unique locations between Aspen and Snowmass giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy free outdoor music in the winter. Past performers include P.O.D., The Vandals, The Gin Blossoms, Freddy Jones Band, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, The Offspring, Unwritten Law, The Prodigals, Riddlin' Kids, Wylde Bunch and Arrested Development.

The Aspen Winternational Is Back!


The Aspen Winternational is back November 29 & 30, 2008, celebrating 40 years of World Cup racing in Aspen! Aspen's passion for World Cup is deeply rooted in our community. Mark you calendars for this year's
Aspen Winternational Audi FIS Alpine World Cup.

The fastest women in the world will compete two days in the disciplines of Slalom and Giant Slalom.We hope you can all make it out to see some American favorites as Olympic Gold Medalist Julia Mancuso as well as others including Lindsay Vonn, Resi Steigler, Caroline Lalive, Kaylin Richardson and Stacey Cook.

The Aspen/Snowmass events calendar rocks, literally.

From Women's Alpine Ski Racing, Colorado Freeride Series and Spring Jam to the Hi-Fi Concert Series and Big Air Fridays, the goings-on are ongoing. Click here to check out the 2008-2009 winter events calendar.

If there's a mountain resort with a more diverse selection of off-snow activities, dining and entertainment, we haven't heard of it. Tedium poses no threat here. The concern in Aspen/Snowmass is whether you can squeeze into your schedule everything you want to try.

The New & Improved Aspen Snowmass; The Big 4 Gets 12

ON-MOUNTAIN IMPROVEMENTS

Aspen/Snowmass has invested $35 million in capital improvements for the 2008-2009 season, including two new restaurants at Snowmass, a new high-speed quad Sheer Bliss lift, 22-foot Olympic-sized halfpipe at Buttermilk and additional terrain at Aspen Highlands. In addition, the new Snowmass base village being developed by Related WestPac will reveal new restaurants, ski-in/ski-out condos and new conference space.

Snowmass & Aspen Mountain: November 27, 2008 - April 12, 2009
Aspen Highlands & Buttermilk: December 13, 2008 - April 5, 2009
