Ruggerfest is a long standing tradition (43 years) that brings some of the nations best Rugby teams together to compete in Aspen. On a calmer note, head to Snowmass Village Sept. 17- 19 for the Balloon Festival in the early morning to watch the sky come alive with the brilliant colors of the hot air balloons as they take to the sky! Watch the competition with events like the Rat Race where ballooners try to make it as far down valley as possible in 3 hours, or the Nite Glow on Sat. 18! The glow takes place around sunset when all the balloon are tethered to the ground. The pilots then fire up the burners, which light up the balloons like Christmas ornaments twinkling off and on. It is an incredible light show!

And sip fabulous wine and dance to sweet tunes in the afternoon Saturday Sept. 18 with the Snowmass Wine and Jazz Festival!
