Aspen Summer Films: New Views are Hitting the Aspen Scene

aspenFILM.org has changed around the look, feel and motive of the summer film programs they have offered in summer's past.

The re-vamped “New Views” Summer Films have teamed up with the Aspen Institute to bring world class, critically acclaimed new documentaries focusing on music, the visual arts, current events and more. Not yet available to the general public, these inspiring, thought-provoking films have won audiences and awards on the international film festival circuit. (film: Furious Force)

Each screening will be followed by a conversation with the director or a special guest related to the film. The series launches during Aspen Ideas Festival on July 8 and continues Monday evenings (July 19, July 26, August 2 and August 9) at 8:00pm in Paepcke Auditorium.

Tickets are $16 per show. On sale now at Aspen Show Tickets at the Wheeler, 970.920.5770 or in person at 320 East Hyman Avenue. If available, tickets will also be sold at the door starting 30 minutes prior to screening start time.

Some of the films have also been scheduled in conjunction with the Aspen Ideas Festival which is happening this week to bring an extra media to the discussions going on this week!

Don’t miss the chance to see amazing new films that have only been seen at international film festivals. And stay at the Inn at Aspen to the get the best deal on a hotel in Aspen!
