Food & Wine's 2008 Grow for Good Charity Dinner Gala

Time: Thursday, June 12 at 8:00 PM (Gondola service begins at 7:15 PM, ticket required for transport)
Description: Join Chefs Michel Nischan of Wholesome Wave Foundation and The Dressing Room in Westport CT, Hawaii's Roy Yamaguchi of Roy's, Hung Huynh, Bravo's Top Chef Season 3 winner, and Ryan Hardy of The Little Nell's Montagna restaurant for a very special 4-course dinner. All proceeds will be donated to Food & Wine's Grow for Good Campaign, a national initiative dedicated to supporting locals farms and encouraging sustainable agriculture. Held at the Sundeck at the top of Aspen Mountain, meet and greet the chefs and feast to save farms across the country. Sponsored by Related Westpac LLC, All-Clad, ALink and Lexus.

Description: The American beer landscape has changed dramatically in the past 25 years. The “Craft Beer Revolution” has inspired a new era of big flavors, variety and innovation in American brewing, and beer has finally found a respected place at the American dining table. Since founding Samuel Adams in 1984, Jim Koch has helped lead the charge to elevate people’s knowledge of craft beer as a complex and noble beverage. Seminar attendees will learn about tasting and appreciating beer, and discover how well beer pairs with food by sampling brews from the Samuel Adams variety paired with small plates created by renowned Chef David Burke.
