Introducing our New General Manager for the Inn at Aspen Hotel

The past few months have been quite eventful and exciting for our ResortQuest Aspen team.

ResortQuest has managed vacation rental properties in the Aspen area for many years. During that time, the hospitality industry in the mountains has undergone significant changes. We have, and continue to face critical decisions that affect our company and the homeowners and guests we have serviced over the years. With those key relationships in mind, ResortQuest made the decision to concentrate all efforts in the Aspen area to the management of The Inn at Aspen Hotel and withdraw from managing all other Aspen and Snowmass properties.

As of November, 2009, we transferred our management contracts for the homes and condominiums located in the City of Aspen to Frias Properties, and the recommended our Snowmass vacation rental homeowners to Alpine Property Management.

We are also very pleased to announce Bob Johnson as our General Manager of Inn at Aspen. Bob moved to the Aspen area in 1991. He was General Manager of Laurelwood and Interlude Condominiums for 15 years and spent the past year as Director of Operations at the Roaring Fork Club.

Bob has two children and is very active in the Aspen community; Vice President on the Roaring Fork School District Board of Education, Chairman of the Basalt Elementary Accountability Committee, Three Rivers Little League Baseball Coach, and holds many other community involvement positions. We are extremely pleased to have Bob join our team, to focus on the heartbeat this very special Aspen hotel.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be introducing our fabulous team at ResortQuest's Inn at Aspen. Let's start with getting to know Bob a little better!
