Aspen Ski Co. Picked As "Best Large Employer in U.S." by Outside Mag

Outside Magazine picked The Aspen Skiing Co. as one of the 10 best large employers in the U.S. The issue hit newsstands last week.

The popular outdoor activities mag sought out “the nation’s most well-balanced workplaces.” Qualifications were not too demanding: employees had to provide a workplace that had a balance of solid work time with a lifestyle that was ecologically in tune with the outdoors. That's Aspen!

The Skico was the only resort operator to make the cut. Skico was in good company in the contender line up: they included Google, outdoor sporting goods retailer REI and mountain and outdoor clothing maker, Patagonia.
